The Microtech Select Fire was part of the unveiling of the "3rd Era" of Microtech in 2011, featuring the newly minted Triangle hardware matched with an unconventional design that very much refranced the lines of previous knives in the catalog (The Vector and The Kestrel). The Select Fire would come in two variants, the manual and the Double Action version. This knife would also do something Microtech had not attempted in a long time, a Double Action Coil Fired automatic only seen once before from them in the Mini Socom.

Microtech Select Fire 129-1T Manual Black Blade Black Handle Tactical
Editors Note; You can see on this manual model the lack of the push button, this is an easy signifier on quick glance. While less sought after the manual models did come in a wide array of colors and hardware finishes including different colored backspacers. The Microtech Numbering taking full affect here as this is properly marked as a -1T (Plain edge black tactical)
While this model usually goes a little unnoticed in the pantheon of Microtech collecting it was truly futuristic in form and function. As you can see in this inset photo even closed the knife did appear to be in motion, almost reminiscent of curvy version of the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk.
