The Marfione Custom Combat Wakazashi is based on the Japanese short sword of the same name. The Combat Wakizashi has hollow ground 1/4" thick steel blade and the blade has hollow ground edges and can be found with in satin with bead blasted "Hamon" finishes as well as DLC coated blades. The blades vary from CPM-D2, 154CM and Damascus steels.  The handle of this Wakazashi is wrapped in ray skin and leather with small Marfione daggers between the two on each side. The Wakizashi short swords comes with fitted kydex sheathes or leather sheaths.  The early models of the Marfione Custom Combat Wakizashi did not come with COA’s.  The COA’s started coming with the shorts swords after a couple of years of production.
