The Marfione Custom Apex fixed blade would be the first in a line of father son collaborations to come out of Microtech and the Marfione Custom Shop, featuring a blade heavy and forward design from Sean. The Apex would also premiere the idea of a collaboration logo to be used on knives where Father and Son work together on a knife, the "S Dagger" logo would go on to great and many things signifying the rise of Sean in the house of Marfione as a designer and powerful hand grinder.

Editors Note: This would be the first time we would see the Sean Marfione "S Dagger" logo on a knife, you can also see this is a very early laser mark where they were experimenting with large fill patterns.
